The grades are in

Last week, all four of our kids brought home their 1st quarter grades. I don't mean to be braggy, but they did really well. Holly got all checks and pluses. Kevin and Megan each got all A's and one B+. Jill got staight A's and she's in 8th grade; amazing. So, we told the kids that instead of paying them for their grades that we would take them out to dinner. We asked them where they wanted to go; they chose Costco pizza and churros. Yea, score!! Costco pizza is delicious and cheap. We went out last night and we had a great time. It was fun to reward the kids for their hard work.
Hey, what do I get for helping those kids get such good grades? I mean, afterall, with the exception of math, I put a lot of effort and sweat into these kids and their homework, which equals good grades. I think I deserve something..... I wonder.....

Sharonda - hopefully if they continue w/ good grades, your pay-off will be that they get a scholarship to college so it won't cost you anything :) (Seems unfair to have to wait that long for a payoff) :)

That is so good! Congratulations on all your A's. Because you know they do all belong to the mother. The one who makes sure to sign the right papers, and makes sure the homework left on the table ends up in the backpacks! Three cheers for Sharonda!!!

I think we should get a reward too for their good grades! It is so much effort. Score on the Costco idea! I love that! And it is super yummy. We were at the Dinasaur Museum last night for FHE. Good job on being a great mom to help them achieve such great grades!

You totally deserve something. Who reminds those kids to do there homework anyway. I guess Jill doesn't need a Math Tutor after all. Way to go.

I think it's the same with husband's graduating from college. Shouldn't our name be on the diploma with theirs? Oh wait, it's not about the recognition...right? Great job on the good grades! You should be proud:)

You didn't have to cook for one night! That should be a great reward!
