Wow!! Lots of summer fun in July

This month has been so great. We were so lucky to have our family here with us for the first two weeks of July to celebrate Megan's baptism. We really had a memorable time. The last two weeks of July we spent in California; it was so awesome. We have made lots of good memories this month. It's going to take me some time to write about everything so, I thought I would start at the beginning with our trek to Timpanogos Cave. I and my three girls went with my mom, my sister Amy, her husband Troy, and their three kids, and some of Troy's siblings and their kids. It was a treacherous but amazing experience. There were times when I didn't think I was going to make it up to the cave, but once inside the cave, it was seriously cool and well worth the previous pain I had experienced.

The girls were freezing inside the cave. I thought it was a welcome coolness compared to the 100 degrees outside.
At this point, we were so relieved to be at the cave opening.

This was on the trek down. We thought going down would be easier. It was a lot faster, but a killer on the toes. It was so steep going down we couldn't believe we had actually walked up it.

You and your sister look like twins!! I still have yet to do the Timp cave, but I have hiked the real mountain does that count?

How fun! I love Timp caves... we hiked it last summer, and I always forget how narrow it gets in the caves. Good thing I am in control of myself in claustrophobic situations... yikes :)
